Josiane Supernova is a feature-length comedy  co-written by Frederique and Noëmie Nicolas.

Bred like a racehorse by an authoritarian and possessive mother, Josiane (29) is a genius in the comparative analysis of space rocket propellers.

Exhausted by the completion of her fourth doctorate, she is about to take a couple months off in Peru with her gemologist boyfriend Gunther. But this trip, which Gunther has been begging her to take for the past three years, doesn't seem to enthrall her. Especially when her mother, Mercedes, has decided to join them.

So when, at the approach of departure, an American corporation offers Josiane to run some tests in order to join the imminent take off of a space mission for Mars, she accepts secretly.
